Learning Agreements
Spending some time abroad can be a very important part of your education. Spending time abroad will help you to view things from a different perspective. However, taking courses at a different University raises the question whether and how these courses can be recognised at your home institution. We have to find out the following:- Are periods of study comparable? (E.g. do the courses have the same ECTS points)
- Are qualifications comparable?
You should provide the necessary information to assess the above issues. Often this information is described on the homepage of the course for which you seek recognition.
- If possible, please include the link to the homepage of the course with your request for a learning agreement. Otherwise, please include sufficient documentation, i.e. a syllabus of the course, information about textbooks, etc.
- Also explain clearly for which course in Jena you seek recognition of the course you take abroad. Unless it is obvious, it might help if you could point out where you see the overlap in qualifications obtained.
